CELLULAR MANUFACTURING LAYOUT DESIGN USING HEURISTIC CLUSTERING ALGORITHM AND LPP MODEL

چکیده

This mathematical model forms machine cells, optimises the costs of unassigned machines and components, designs shop floor cell layout to have minimal movement materials. The complete similarity measure algorithm cells part families in a refined form. Later, exceptional elements are eliminated optimisation by using duplication sub-contracting parts. Then is designed optimised material movements between within cells. An evaluation formation algorithm’ performance done on benchmark problems various batch sizes reveal process’s capability compared with other similar methods. data machining times acquired tabulated incidence matrix, which used as input for algorithm. results from linear programming that saved, duplicated, parts sub-contracted, there inter- intra- cellular movements. Finally, output inbound facility design layout, has clusters area.
